Established in 2005, the International Academy of Design and Technology in Sacramento is located near Arco Arena. The design school offers an Associate of Applied Science in Fashion Design and Marketing and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and Marketing. Students learn design, sewing, marketing, and business skills.
American River College
Located on an oak-lined street in suburban Sacramento, American River College offers an Associate or Certificate in Fashion Design and an Associate or Certificate in Fashion Merchandising. The Fashion Merchandising degree requires work experience in fashion as part of the curriculum.
